Compare! Compare! Compare!

Shop around and spend some time talking to agents from various companies to find the least expensive one.
Look for Applicable Discounts
You can find several available discounts that could reduce your premium by hundreds of dollars. Good Driver discounts, storage discounts, senior discounts and others may be something you could take advantage of. Ask the agents you speak with to find the best discounts for your needs.
Safer Vehicles Equal Less Expensive Insurance

Nissan Dealers NJ Warn Against Drugs and Driving
Your Nissan dealers NJ are concerned about the safety of drivers on the road. That’s why we want to bring your attention to this article. It’s about mixing antidepressants with driving.
You might not think that antidepressants impair your ability to drive, but apparently that’s not true. A recent study found that drivers who take antidepressants (Prozac, Zoloft, etc.) are more likely to have impaired driving skills than those who don’t take these medications. That’s even true if the antidepressants were prescribed by a doctor.
Holly Dannewitz from the University of North Dakota conducted the study. Along with some researchers, she asked 60 volunteers to participate in a driving simulation. One group took at least one antidepressant beforehand while another group took nothing. During the simulation, they did simple driving tasks – braking, steering, adhering to traffic signals, etc.
The study found that the drivers who took an antidepressant before the test were much more impaired than the other group. Their concentration was off and their focus was gone. In some cases, they even had less control over their car.
The findings were presented at the American Psychological Association in Boston.
So if you’re taking antidepressants, your Nissan dealers NJ and your local Nissan dealer want you to be extra careful out there. If it’s possible, find another qualified driver to take you places when you’re under the influence of antidepressants. We’re all concerned about safety and we just want everybody to make it home to see their families each night.

As such, it sends signals to all four wheels to ensure maximum traction and safety at all times. It uses two wheels when simply cruising and four wheels when you need them most.
• 400 miles per tank. With 27 mpg and 170 horsepower, your 2008 Nissan Rogue can get up to 400 miles every time you fill it up under certain circumstances. That means you could fill it up in Newark and drive all the way through Pittsburgh without stopping for gas!

Public Service Announcement from Your Local NJ Dealership
At your local Nissan NJ dealership, we care about your safety, your family’s safety and the safety of everybody on the roadways. And with Labor Day Weekend fast approaching, your NJ dealership wanted to pass along some bits of information.
As with every Labor Day Weekend, New Jersey (along with most other states in the nation) crack down on drunk driving. They put many more police officers on the road to patrol the highways for drivers under the influence of alcohol. This year is no different.
On August 15, New Jersey began its statewide crackdown by adding many more traffic officers to the highways. With gas prices as high as they are and an uncertain economy, more residents are expected to stay close to home this year, making the highways more crowded and dangerous than usual. “That’s why it’s imperative that all driers remain safe and sober,” explained the director of the state Division of Highway Traffic Safety, Pam Fischer.
This year’s campaign, titled “Over the Limit, Under Arrest” (pretty catchy if you ask me), involves a number of checkpoints throughout the state.
According to a recent poll, though, nearly 70 percent of NJ drivers are pleased with the crackdown. They listed drunk driving as the top priority for the state and felt that police officers should enforce the laws more efficiently.
Before they official Labor Day Weekend starts, why not visit your local Nissan dealer and get a great new car to enjoy your long weekend? It’s a great way to relax and appreciate the waning days of summer. Just remember to drive sober and be careful and everything should be just fine.
Nissan Dealers NJ Applaud State’s Environmental Action
In terms of voting for legislation that helps the environment, Nissan dealers NJ give credit to the state’s congressional delegation. A recent report from a leading environmental group said most of New Jersey’s members of Congress took many opportunities to vote for pro-environment measures whenever they were introduced. “New Jersey’s senators and a majority of our congressmen,” explained the executive director of the group Environment New Jersey, “have stood up for the environment and pushed real clean energy solutions for our energy crisis.”
The group used voting records on such issues like global warming, pollution, fuel standards for new vehicles and other criteria in their research.
In addition to the accolades for the group of representatives, Nissan dealers NJ also applaud Senator Robert Menendez and Frank Lautenberg for receiving “repeat perfect scores on the 10 Senate environmental votes ranked.” Eight of the state’s 13 congressional representatives also received perfect scores, including Frank LoBiondo, Rob Andrews, Frank Pallone, Chris Smith, Bill Pascrell, Rush Holt, Albio Sires and Steve Rothman.

New Safety Feature Coming to Nissan Automobile Dealers
Nissan automobile dealers always have a full inventory of new and used vehicles with some of the best safety features on the market. Following in that tradition, the cars at Nissan automobile dealers all over North America will have another safety feature to go along with all the others.
The new system will be an “electronic nanny” that nudges the vehicle back toward its original lane if it tries to merge into a lane in which another vehicle is in its blind spot.
But this type of technology isn’t exactly new. Other vehicles have had warning systems and alarms that are activated if a driver tries to change lanes unsafely. These alarms range from a beeping light on the dashboard to a vibrating steering wheel to get your attention. But Nissan’s feature will actually vibrate the brakes to physically make the vehicle pull back into its lane.
This is all in the name of safety. I’m sure everybody has had a time or two when they got a good jolt because they tried to change lanes and a car was coming up alongside. It happened to me twice last week! The feature is geared more toward careless drivers than anybody else. Fortunately, in the event of an emergency, drivers can override the system and change lanes anyways. But at least it’s a reminder to double-check your lane change before you actually do it.
Look for this new safety feature on vehicles in a couple years at your local Nissan dealer. Until then, just be careful and check twice (or three times) before changing lanes.

Accident Tips from Your Nissan Automobile Dealers
In case you ever get in an accident, your trustworthy Nissan automobile dealers want to give you some tips on what to do. The first few minutes after an accident can be vital to your safety and your financial obligations so it’s important to follow some guidelines for your own protection.
1. Stay at the scene of the accident. There’s probably nothing worse than driving away from the scene of an accident. It’s not only illegal, but there could be somebody who needs medical attention and minutes could be precious. Even if you’re at fault, you’ll be better off staying at the scene and waiting for the authorities.
2. Take pictures. If you’re on a street without a lot of traffic, take some time to take a few pictures of the accident. It’s helpful if you keep a small camera in your glove box for such an occasion.
3. Move away from the traffic. Whether you’re on a busy street or a side street, move the cars off to the side if they are driveable. Also, set up flares and emergency signals so other drivers know to go around you.
4. Call for help. Even with the smallest accidents, you should get a police report and make sure everybody involved is okay.
5. Tell the truth, but don’t admit fault. Admitting fault is the worst thing you can do for insurance purposes. Also, don’t agree to pay for any damages at the scene. Always wait until you talk to your insurance agent and lawyer. Make sure you make a note about how to get a copy of the police report for your personal records.
If the accident is bad enough, you can always visit your local Nissan dealer and get a deal on a great new car. Otherwise, follow these tips from your caring Nissan automobile dealers and use the accident as a learning experience.
