Holly Dannewitz from the University of North Dakota conducted the study. Along with some researchers, she asked 60 volunteers to participate in a driving simulation. The study found that the drivers who took an antidepressant before the test were much more impaired than the other group. Their concentration was off and their focus was gone. In some cases, they even had less control over their car.

The findings were presented at the American Psychological Association in Boston.
