Brookdale Community College’s Haunted Theater

This is a new attraction in the area that guides you through several rooms of the facility’s performing arts center. Students designed the frights that are sure to make you howl.

Nissan Dealers NJ Discuss New GPS Technology

Your Nissan Dealers NJ might be getting some new cars with a new GPS technology installed in them in the near future.

Engineers at Nissan in Japan are working on a system that would “spy” on other cars and pedestrians on the roadways. Although it sounds like “Big Brother,” this could actually be helpful in reducing the number of accidents between cars and pedestrians (and other cars for that matter).

The new technology, called the Intelligent Transport System, has been a project at Nissan for several years. The automaker has been working on creating safer cars and ways to help drivers avoid accidents. This new system would connect all cars on the roadways to a central server through a wireless network. Pedestrians would also be connected to the server through their GPS-enabled mobile phones. Whenever another car or pedestrian enters your proximity, the in-car computer would then alert you as to their whereabouts so you could take extra precautions to avoid accidents.

This sounds like some exciting features soon to be at your Nissan dealers NJ. Of course, it’ll be a few years before this GPS feature is available at your local Nissan dealer near Turnersville. But once it’s there, maybe we can start saying goodbye to accidents that could have been avoided in the first place.

Chevrolet Dealership Celebrates Fuel Economy Study

Chevrolet recently performed a study in the United Kingdom that shows just how much fuel you can save by changing your driving habits. In addition to choosing a fuel efficient Chevrolet from your Berlin area Chevrolet dealer, these practices can save you money at the pump.

According to a representative for Chevrolet in the UK, the study “proves that by applying anticipation, awareness and gentle acceleration and braking to their driving, Chevrolet owners can get even better value for money out of their motoring.”

The study involved two identical Chevrolet Aveo 1.4 Liter hatchbacks. It was done during the Fleetworld/ALD Automotive MPG Marathon in England.

The two Chevrolet vehicles drove a 411 mile route through the West Country, Wales and Cheshire. The marathon goes over several types of roads, including highway, roads with a steep gradient and even some heavy traffic areas.

One of the Aveo drivers drove the vehicle at a normal pace, keeping speed with surrounding traffic. That driver kept the vehicle at the legal speed limit whenever possible.

The other vehicle, however, was driven in a more eco-friendly manner, keeping lower speeds when possible.

The two vehicles arrived at the end of the marathon within just 20 minutes of one another. On a 411 mile trip, this is an impressive fact. It means that an average commute of 20 miles or so would take just one minute longer when driven in an eco-friendly manner.

The 2009 Nissan Murano S FWD
This is just like the 2009 Murano S, but it has front-wheel drive along with 18-inch alloy wheels.

The 2009 Nissan Murano S AWD

Fewer Cars Available at Your Nissan NJ Dealership

Unless you’ve been hiding in a cave for the last two months, you know that there is a worldwide economic crisis going on right now. As a result, your local Nissan NJ dealership may have fewer new cars to offer for sale until things pick up. Here’s why:

In an effort to fit the supply of new Nissan cars to the demand, the Japanese automaker announced that it was going to reduce production of vehicles at two plants in the United States. As a result, that means about 28,000 fewer units produced domestically and fewer cars and your NJ dealership in Turnersville and all over the nation.

“Our sales in the United States remained sluggish,” said a spokesperson for Nissan. “We must adjust our output accordingly.”

In addition to those cuts, Nissan plans to cut production by another 37,000 units by reducing numbers at one of its plants in southern Japan next year. That plant mostly produces the Murano and Rogue.

After hearing news like this, it makes you want to rush to your nearest Nissan dealer and get one of these vehicles while you can. With fewer units on dealer lots next year, don’t wait any longer!

New Jersey Dealer Discusses Biofuels

One of the ways that you can use less petroleum and drive in a way that is easier on the environment is by buying a vehicle from your Chevrolet Dealer near Lumberton that will run on biofuel.

What exactly is biofuel? Biofuel is a renewable fuel source that is made from renewable products that are grown in the ground. Chevrolet has been producing cars for eight years that are able to run on biofuel. These vehicles are able to use E85 ethanol, which is made mostly from grain products. It is expected that, in the future, E85 will be made from municipal, forest and agricultural waste. E85 burns much more cleanly than gasoline, and helps to reduce our dependence on oil.

More than two million Chevrolet vehicles on the road today have E85 Flex Fuel capability. In fact, Chevrolet offers more E85 capable vehicles than any other automotive manufacturer. Availability of E85 vehicles varies by state. Chevrolet produces the Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado, HHR, Impala and the Avalanche in a FlexFuel E85 version.

Even if you don’t want to consider a FlexFuel E85 vehicle, Chevrolet has a car that can save you money at the pump. Come and see us at your New Jersey dealer and we’ll help you find the car to suit your needs.

Nissan Dealers NJ to Get Cars with Exciting New Technology

You may have already heard about Nissan’s new CARWINGS telematic system that will be available in cars at your Nissan dealers NJ in Lumberton soon (if it isn’t already). But the Japanese automaker is working on making the system even more inclusive for drivers with some new features.

The new “slip-alert” is one of the new features you can expect on the CARWINGS telematic system. This new technology uses a camera that’s focused on the road ahead to broadcast real-time images to the driver. This is going to be especially useful on mountain roads that get covered with snow and ice because the technology uses the navigation screen to display those curves and trouble areas where other drivers have lost control.

Currently, engineers and testers are working on the system in Hokkaido, a place where slippery road conditions often cover the mountainous areas. There are already cameras there that film the region to alert motorists as to the slippery areas and what to avoid.

There aren’t any plans to release these features in the United States soon. Engineers and officials simply plan to release it in Japan as of right now. However, you can visit your local Nissan dealer and find many other features that are designed to keep you safe behind the wheel in a variety of road conditions.

Chevrolet Dealership Announces Tahoe Hybrid Award

The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is one of the most fuel efficient SUVs you’ll find at your Chevrolet Dealer near Delran. The Tahoe Hybrid is rated at 21 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway, which is no small feat for a vehicle of this size. Accordingly, the Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid has just been named the Green Car of the Year by the Green Car Journal.

One of the biggest reasons that the Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid won this distinction is that it gets better mileage than any other V8. In fact, it is estimated that the Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid gets around 30 percent better mileage than other SUVs with a V8 engine. In addition, the high city gas mileage rating was a factor in the decision, as that 21 miles per gallon is an especially impressive figure.

Many prominent people are on the jury for the Green Car Journal. It includes Jay Leno, Carroll Shelby, as well as people from the Sierra Club, the Worldwatch Institute, the World Resources Institute, and the Ocean Futures Society.

If you’re looking for a powerful SUV that will also save you money at the pump, look no further than the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid.
