If you’re like most people today, you’re making a list of the things you want to change about yourself in 2009. Your local Chevrolet dealership understands this and we want to help you make resolutions and keep them. Here are some tips that we offer to help you better yourself in 2009.

1. Have a plan. Nothing works without a plan. Think about how you will accomplish your resolutions in 2009. Write these steps down so you can see them and visualize them.
2. Create your plan today! Don’t wait until tomorrow or January 3 to create your plan because you’ll be more likely to just forget about it. Do it today so you can get started on fulfilling your plan immediately.
3. Think long-term. You’re not going to accomplish your 2009 goals by January 2. You have to be in the mindset to think for the entire year rather than just one day.
4. Be flexible. Just because you break your resolution one day doesn’t mean you failed. Keep jumping back on the wagon and continue to keep trying if you want to reach your goal by the end of 2009.

If your resolution is to buy a new or certified car, your Delran area Chevrolet dealer can definitely help you accomplish that goal. Visit us today and start 2009 off with a bang!

NJ Chevy Dealerships Doing Great!

While the Big Three continues to experience bad sales figures and seeking money for bailouts, some New Jersey Chevy dealerships aren’t feeling the pinch.

One of the Chevy dealerships in Little Falls, New Jersey is outselling many other car dealerships in the area. In fact, this particular dealerships is “outselling most of General Motors,” according to one news article. Sales for General Motors are down by more than 20 percent in 2008, but sales for some NJ Chevy dealerships have doubled in the last 12 months.

The key to increasing sales is to treat customers like they want to be treated. Most customers are just looking for a fair deal on a car and not every dealer is willing to do that. Some dealers jack up their price in hopes of getting a better price after negotiations. But building a strong relationship with the customer and making them feel like they aren’t overspending for a new or used car increases sales because they will refer their friends and family to the dealer when it comes time for them to purchase another vehicle, too.

Visit your Marlton area Chevrolet dealer and feel like part of the family. You’ll get treated fairly and you’ll walk away with a great deal on the car of your choice. We guarantee it.

Nissan Automobile Dealers Congratulate Local NJ TV Stars

You may not know it, but your fellow Jerseyans are peppered throughout your favorite TV shows. Your Nissan automobile dealers know this and they want to take a moment to recognize them so you can look for them the next time you watch TV. Here are some of the shows and the Jerseyans to look for:

Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew
A group from the Rutgers Dance Team performed on Sass x7 on the second season of this American Idol’s solo project. They didn’t make it to the final stage of the competition, but they were they only all-female dance team that stood out in the competition.

America’s Next Top Model
Lauren Utter from Monroe appeared on the 10th incarnation of this addicting program. Out of 14 contestants, she was the 8th to get booted off. That’s not bad considering, by her own admission, that she never dresses up or wears makeup.

Project Runway
Lea Rannells made a splash on the TV screen as she pursued a career in modeling on this popular Bravo show. Hailing from Bridgewater, she helped the winner of the competition create a dress made from peanut butter cup wrappers.

Your Nissan automobile dealers like to recognize Jersey natives when we get a chance. Maybe you’ll see one of these reality show stars at your Lumberton area Nissan dealer spending the money they made on a new or certified car.

Visit Your NJ Dealership While Doing Your After-Christmas Shopping

After-Christmas sales are sometimes some of the best sales of the year. In fact, the sales on the day after Christmas are becoming even bigger moneymakers for retail stores than Black Friday, or the day after Thanksgiving. This year, that’s even truer because retailers are becoming more desperate to get your business with the recent downturn in the economy. “There’s not a lot of time for retailers to make up for what’s been lost,” said a spokesperson for the National Retail Federation. While post-Christmas sales typically account for about 10-15 percent of the season’s overall sales, some say this year that percentage will jump as people are waiting for the better deals.

Stores opened early this morning to catch the early risers. “People can come in from 7 a.m. to noon and they are going to find great deals,” said Tom Aiello, a spokesperson for Sears. “It’s like Black Friday.”

Before you go out and do your after-Christmas shopping this weekend, visit your Nissan NJ dealership. It’s the perfect place to start because you can get a new or certified used Nissan to drive around town in style while you do your shopping. Your Turnersville area Nissan dealer is ready to give you a great deal on the car you wanted and didn’t get for Christmas.

The book was released a couple weeks ago and features more than 250 stores throughout the state where you can shop for the foods you need to make the recipes. You can only purchase the book through the mail at HolidayFoodTraditions.com.

Chevrolet Dealership Recognizes Acts of Kindness

Your Chevrolet dealership enjoys recognizing acts of kindness and generosity when they occur in the country. This is one of those times.

In Wisconsin, a “secret Santa” donated $75,000 to the state’s food banks through America’s Second Harvest of Wisconsin. The organization has several food banks throughout Omro and Milwaukee. Throughout the years, the donor’s donations have enabled Wisconsin’s food banks to pass out more than 11 million pounds of food to pantries, shelters and other food programs. Since 1983, the donor has given more than $2 million to the food banks in the state. This year’s $75,000 donation enable the food banks to distribute about a half million pounds of food.

Although the president of the organization – Bonnie Bellehumeur – has never met the secret donor, she is grateful for the donations. And with the flailing economy, those donations are even more helpful than they have ever been. Food supplies are also low and the demand has gone up nearly 25 percent.

You can be as generous as this secret Santa by visiting your Marlton area Chevrolet dealer and buying a new or certified car for someone you love. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Christmas!

Nissan Automobile Dealers Promote Terrorism Hotline

Your Nissan automobile dealers want to promote the new Terrorism Hotline recently launched by the Department of Homeland Security.

The new hotline – 1(866)4SAFE-NJ – is designed to take phone calls related to any suspicious activity that could be gearing up for terrorism. So far, the agency has been spreading awareness throughout the state by putting up posters and passing out flyers that read, “Our Most Effective Weapon Against Terrorism Is You. If You Suspect It, Report It.” Many of these ads are in places of businesses, police stations and other public facilities where many people will see them. New Jersey also has similar messages on the electronic billboards along the highway.

In addition to the hotline, you can also email any suspicious activity to tips@njhomelandsecurity.gov.
