Chevy Dealerships Recognize Change in Driving Habits

Your Chevy dealerships want to commend drivers for changing their driving habits despite the recent decline in gas prices. A recent study shows that about 52 percent of American drivers have continued to drive more efficiently even though gas prices are less than half of what they were a few months ago. It’s like the $4 a gallon prices scared them and they are prepared for another hike in prices at any time. On the other hand, about 12 percent of drivers have gone back to their old driving habits.

The new study, released by Gallup.com, breaks down the findings even further. According to the data, drivers in the upper-income range (more than $75,000 annually) were the least likely to change their driving habits when prices went up. However, the age of the driver did not matter much when it came to changing driving habits.

In a twist, the data showed that drivers in the lower-income range were more likely to return to their old driving habits. About 19 percent of people making less than $75,000 a year say they have disregarded their fuel-saving habits since prices have gone down.

Whether you’re back to your old driving habits or if you’ve held on to your fuel-efficient ways, your Marlton area Chevrolet dealer has a car to fit your needs. Check one out today!
