New Jersey Dealer Anticpates Chevy Cruze

GM’s recent release of the production version of its Chevy Volt, the long-range plug-in hybrid expected to be released in 2011, has garnered a lot of attention in the past few weeks. In addition to the Volt, however, Chevrolet has released plans for another vehicle, also to show up at Chevrolet dealers in 2011: The Chevy Cruze.

The Chevy Cruze will feature an “arching roof-line of the Cruze that extends from the steeply raked windshield to its sloping rear pillars and short rear deck, bringing coupe-like proportions to a compact sedan, ” according to PR Newswire.

The Chevy Cruze is designed to be a compact yet roomy and stylish sedan. This will be a global product for General Motors, and it is expected that the Cruze will be built on four continents. As such, the Chevy Cruze is an important part of Chevrolet’s global strategy.

The Chevy Cruze is part of an effort by Chevrolet to brand itself as a global brand powerhouse, rather than a  parochial American brand, much like Ford has done in recent years.

It is expected that the Chevy Cruse will sell hundreds of thousands of units each year during the next decade.

Why wait for the Chevy Cruze? Come on down and see us at your New Jersey Chevrolet dealer today, and we’ll help you find the right Chevrolet to suit your needs.
