Every company is looking for ways to expand its profits and marketability. Mercedes-Benz is no different. According to a German automobile publication, Dieter Zetsche formed a group of Daimler “higher-ups” to find options to increase the company’s overall income.
One suggestion was to get more involved in the used and certified car industry. But another idea the German automaker is seriously considering is getting into the limousine service.
Imagine seeing the prom kids riding around town in an extended black Mercedes-Benz limousine. As the vehicle pulls up to the restaurant for dinner, you see 40 nicely dressed teenagers with three dollars apiece piling out of the back of the limo.
