Exactly 105 years after appearing at its first UK auto show in 1903, Mercedes-Benz is planning to amaze and mystify at this year’s British Auto Show.
The British Auto Show is slated to occur from July 23 to August 3, 2008 at the London ExCel facility. If you plan on attending, you can expect to see the latest and most exciting creations that the Benz Company is releasing to the public.
But UK residents aren’t strangers to Mercedes-Benz. The German automaker has something called Mercedes-Benz World in Brooklands, Surrey. This facility was created to showcase the company’s most innovative vehicles at the Brand Experience Centre. Even though it didn’t even open until the end of 2006, Mercedes-Benz World has seen nearly a half million people come through its doors expecting to see the best that the auto industry has to offer.
In addition to Mercedes-Benz World, the area also has a facility where kids can experience driving a brand new Benz if they can reach the pedal. More than 15,000 kids have lived their dream of driving by visiting this facility and seeing what it’s like to drive one of the best cars in the world! They almost feel like they’re driving the car right off the lot of a nearby Mercedes-Benz dealer.
If this year’s British Auto Show is anything like the previous ones, officials are expecting to see about 400,000 people view the many makes and models during this two week period. But with all of the things Mercedes-Benz has planned for its display, visitors will undoubtedly flock to that company for a truly unique experience.
