Unless you’ve been hiding in a cave for the last two months, you know that there is a worldwide economic crisis going on right now. As a result, your local Nissan NJ dealership may have fewer new cars to offer for sale until things pick up. Here’s why:
In an effort to fit the supply of new Nissan cars to the demand, the Japanese automaker announced that it was going to reduce production of vehicles at two plants in the United States. As a result, that means about 28,000 fewer units produced domestically and fewer cars and your NJ dealership in Turnersville and all over the nation.
“Our sales in the United States remained sluggish,” said a spokesperson for Nissan. “We must adjust our output accordingly.”
In addition to those cuts, Nissan plans to cut production by another 37,000 units by reducing numbers at one of its plants in southern Japan next year. That plant mostly produces the Murano and Rogue.
After hearing news like this, it makes you want to rush to your nearest Nissan dealer and get one of these vehicles while you can. With fewer units on dealer lots next year, don’t wait any longer!
