A recent report from a leading environmental group said most of New Jersey’s members of Congress took many opportunities to vote for pro-environment measures whenever they were introduced. “New Jersey’s senators and a majority of our congressmen,” explained the executive director of the group Environment New Jersey, “have stood up for the environment and pushed real clean energy solutions for our energy crisis.”
The group used voting records on such issues like global warming, pollution, fuel standards for new vehicles and other criteria in their research.
In addition to the accolades for the group of representatives, Nissan dealers NJ also applaud Senator Robert Menendez and Frank Lautenberg for receiving “repeat perfect scores on the 10 Senate environmental votes ranked.” Eight of the state’s 13 congressional representatives also received perfect scores, including Frank LoBiondo, Rob Andrews, Frank Pallone, Chris Smith, Bill Pascrell, Rush Holt, Albio Sires and Steve Rothman.
