Your local Nissan dealers NJ want to bring your attention to a recent article released by the Associated Press. It talks about how the number of alcohol-related deaths on the roadways has fallen in more than half the states across that nation. To be specific, those deaths have decreased in 32 states! That’s not only remarkable, but it’s also great news if you ask us at your Nissan dealers NJ.
Unfortunately, even though the numbers have gone down in 32 individual states, more than 13,000 people still died as the result of an alcohol-related incident on the roads last year. This number only includes drivers that had a blood-alcohol level of at least 0.08.
The largest decrease in these types of deaths was in California. There were 117 fewer deaths in 2007 than there were in 2006. The Golden State is followed by Texas with 108 fewer deaths and Arizona coming in with 63 fewer deaths. Pennsylvania and Delaware were two more states that had safer roadways in 2007. Overall, alcohol-related deaths decreased by about four percent in the United States.
With numbers and statistics like that, why not visit your local Nissan dealer and get a new or certified used car today? The roads are becoming safer and many drivers are being more responsible when they get behind the wheel.
