The benefit concert occurred Monday night at the Count Basie Theater. Jon Bon Jovi was the headlining performer along with Southside Johnny Lyon. In the middle of the show, Bon Jovi introduced “The Boss” who provided guitar and background vocals for some Christmas favorites, including “Run Rudolph Run,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Merry Christmas, Baby.” They also did some hometown favorites and left the crowd wanting more when the concert was over.
This was the fourth annual Hope Concert. It raised more than $250,000 for the Parker Family Health Center. In addition to that, people brought thousands of kilograms of food for local food banks and services.
