Chevrolet Dealership Recognizes Acts of Kindness

Your Chevrolet dealership enjoys recognizing acts of kindness and generosity when they occur in the country. This is one of those times.

In Wisconsin, a “secret Santa” donated $75,000 to the state’s food banks through America’s Second Harvest of Wisconsin. The organization has several food banks throughout Omro and Milwaukee. Throughout the years, the donor’s donations have enabled Wisconsin’s food banks to pass out more than 11 million pounds of food to pantries, shelters and other food programs. Since 1983, the donor has given more than $2 million to the food banks in the state. This year’s $75,000 donation enable the food banks to distribute about a half million pounds of food.

Although the president of the organization – Bonnie Bellehumeur – has never met the secret donor, she is grateful for the donations. And with the flailing economy, those donations are even more helpful than they have ever been. Food supplies are also low and the demand has gone up nearly 25 percent.

You can be as generous as this secret Santa by visiting your Marlton area Chevrolet dealer and buying a new or certified car for someone you love. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Christmas!

Nissan Dealers NJ Welcome Bruce Springsteen

Your Nissan dealers NJ were excited to see Bruce Springsteen make a surprise appearance at a recent Christmas benefit.

The benefit concert occurred Monday night at the Count Basie Theater. Jon Bon Jovi was the headlining performer along with Southside Johnny Lyon. In the middle of the show, Bon Jovi introduced “The Boss” who provided guitar and background vocals for some Christmas favorites, including “Run Rudolph Run,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Merry Christmas, Baby.” They also did some hometown favorites and left the crowd wanting more when the concert was over.

This was the fourth annual Hope Concert. It raised more than $250,000 for the Parker Family Health Center. In addition to that, people brought thousands of kilograms of food for local food banks and services.

Your Nissan dealers NJ want to encourage you to give to people less fortunate regardless of what time of year it is. We can help by offering you great deals on a new or used car at your Cherry Hill area Nissan dealer. With the money you save, you’ll have extra money to help others out that could use it more. Nissan Automobile Dealers Promote Terrorism Hotline

Your Nissan automobile dealers want to promote the new Terrorism Hotline recently launched by the Department of Homeland Security.

The new hotline – 1(866)4SAFE-NJ – is designed to take phone calls related to any suspicious activity that could be gearing up for terrorism. So far, the agency has been spreading awareness throughout the state by putting up posters and passing out flyers that read, “Our Most Effective Weapon Against Terrorism Is You. If You Suspect It, Report It.” Many of these ads are in places of businesses, police stations and other public facilities where many people will see them. New Jersey also has similar messages on the electronic billboards along the highway.

In addition to the hotline, you can also email any suspicious activity to tips@njhomelandsecurity.gov.

Your Nissan automobile dealers are concerned with keeping New Jersey safe. Whether it’s through thwarting terrorism or by putting you in a new car equipped with all of the latest safety features in the industry. Visit a Lumberton area Nissan dealer today and feel safer behind the wheel of a new car. And remember, if you see something that is suspicious, don’t be afraid to report it. You could just thwart the next 9/11 attack.

Chevy Dealerships Welcome Christmas Snow

Your Chevy dealerships enjoy having snow on the ground for Christmas. I’m sure that’s the sentiment of many people along the East Coast. Most people would be fine if it did not snow all season as long as we have a white Christmas.

The snow that blanketed the Lehigh Valley region on Friday will likely stick around through Christmas and possibly even longer. There was also some snow that fell over the weekend that will help us enjoy a white Christmas. That’s exciting since the area hasn’t really had a white Christmas since 2002.

The Weather Channel compiles the odds of each region in the nation having a white Christmas each year. In New Jersey, odds range between 10 and 25 percent each year that it will either snow on or around Christmas Day. Also, the Old Farmer’s Almanac is saying it’s going to be very cold with snow showers from today through Thursday.

Don’t let this discourage you from visiting the local Chevy dealerships in the area, though. It’s a lot of fun seeing the brand new cars amongst the white snow. Visit a Marlton area Chevrolet dealer this week and enjoy the white stuff while spending less of the green stuff on a new or used car.

Nissan NJ Dealership Encourage Volunteer Work this Season

With less than a week until Christmas, your Nissan NJ dealership and local Lehigh Valley pastors want to encourage you to get out and do some volunteer work this weekend.

Reverend Judith Sheriff of West Side Moravian Church has noticed that people are more charitable this season than they have been in the past. She has had many of her church members and others come up to her and ask where there is a need this season so they can jump in and help in one way or another. One thing she suggests is volunteering at a soup kitchen in the area.

“That’s a better kind of gift because it’s real and it’s not at arm’s length…You’re up close to a person that needs you. You can even do that kind of thing as a family and model it for children.”

Another thing that people are doing is buying gifts for people in need rather than buying them for each other. “When we turn [Christmas] into giving each other a Christmas present from a store, then that becomes trivialized.”

If you really want to help a needy person this Christmas season, visit your Turnersville area Nissan dealer and consider buying or leasing a new or certified vehicle for someone in need. With the great deals you can get and the amount of help it can be for someone, it’s truly the type of gift that keeps on giving.

New Jersey Dealer Applauds Environmental Precautions

Your Chevrolet New Jersey dealer is concerned and dedicated to helping the environment. That’s why we applaud the actions of the state’s officials and energy companies to slow down and even eliminate carbon dioxide pollution.

The newest attempt to accomplish this goal was the nation’s “second Internet auction that will charge power plants money to compensate” for the pollution they create. The RGGI, or Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, organized the auction which included 10 northeastern states that have promised to reduce their emissions by at least 10 percent in the next 10 years. (All those 10s do not have any significance in the plan, it just turned out that way.)

The auction occurred yesterday and it sold more than 30 million carbon dioxide allowances. Bidders included Conectiv Energy and other plants in and around New Jersey. The proceeds will be divided between each state’s Economic Development Authority, the DEP and the Board of Public Utilities.

You can help the environment by getting a fuel-efficient vehicle from your Marlton area Chevrolet dealer. With new engines, hybrid models and much more, you can do your part in saving the environment and reducing air pollution while enjoying the car you’ve always wanted!

Get Employee Prices at Your Chevrolet Dealership

In the latest effort to increase sales figures, General Motors is offering employee prices at your local Chevrolet dealership this month.

This isn’t like the sale GM had a few months ago where anybody could get the same prices as employees. With the current promotion, you have to know somebody that either works for General Motors as a salaried employee or retiree. And that person has to offer the deal to you. Each person is only allowed to offer the discount to two friends or family members. But with more than 130,000 white-collar employees and retirees, that’s a lot of discounts!

In addition to this promotion, though, the Red Tag Sales Event is going on at your Marlton area Chevrolet dealer. This sales event offers thousands of dollars of incentives and rebates on some of your favorite Chevrolet models as well as special leasing and financing terms.

Can you think of a better gift to give yourself or somebody else than a new or certified pre-owned vehicle from your local Chevrolet dealership? With gas prices down and the cash incentives, there’s never been a better time to invest in one of these cars. You better hurry, though. The incentives end on January 5!

Nissan Dealers NJ Welcome Electric Cars…Do You?

Your Nissan dealers NJ are excited about the release of electric cars that they can sell on their lots in the next couple years. But is the general public as excited about this launch as Nissan dealers NJ are?

In an article entitled “It Takes a Village to Sell an Electric Car” at the CNet News website, Martin LaMonica explores how it may take some prodding to get people excited about these automobiles. When gas prices were skyrocketing, it seemed like drivers would embrace electric cars with open arms. But not that those prices have gone down, it looks like people are less likely to make the switch.

In response to this, automakers like Nissan are going to combine the launch of the electric car with “a big dose of community outreach, with the hope of making the new generation of vehicles more desirable and convenient to consumers.”

One thing Nissan is considering is a battery swapping program. This should solve the problem of electric cars having a limited range because there would be “swapping stations” all over the country where drivers could switch batteries quickly and keep moving along on their trip.

Your Cherry Hill Nissan dealer supports the electric car and cannot wait until the launch of the electric car. How about you?
